Hydrogen Peroxide: The Germ Fighter
Hydrogen Peroxide is a powerhouse when it comes to cleaning and disinfecting your bathroom. This versatile ingredient can be found in most medicine cabinets, but it’s not just for wound care. Here’s how you can use hydrogen peroxide to clean your bathroom effectively:
- Disinfect Countertops and Surfaces: Put a sprayer on a Hydrogen Peroxide bottle and spray this solution on countertops, sinks, and other surfaces to disinfect and kill germs. It’s important to keep Hydrogen Peroxide in the brown bottle because once it’s exposed to light it loses its effectiveness within an hour or so.
- Brighten Grout: Apply hydrogen peroxide directly to grout, let it sit for a few minutes, and scrub gently to reveal bright, clean tiles and grout.
- Toilet Bowl Cleaner: Pour hydrogen peroxide into the toilet bowl, let it sit for about 15 minutes, and then scrub with a toilet brush. It will leave your toilet sparkling and disinfected.
Hydrogen Peroxide is not only effective but also environmentally friendly, making it an excellent choice for a green bathroom cleaning routine.
