3 Ways to Jumpstart Your Cleaning Routine for 2017
Happy 2017! If you’re looking to declutter, clean, and organize this year, I’m here to help you harness that energy and get your cleaning routine in order.
The key to getting a handle on your home is following a plan, giving yourself grace, and having a day built in to catch up on any uncompleted tasks. First things first, join me on Instagram, Facebook, and/or my private Homekeeping Society Facebook (just request to be added). If you need a friendly little reminder to show up in your feed so you get off your phone and do a little task, follow along ???? Then tag a friend or two to be your accountability partner and you’ll be off and running…..
Ready for your plan to jumpstart your cleaning routine?
Start with a calendar (here’s the January calendar) – every month I give away a free cleaning routine calendar – subscribe to the blog (enter your email in the sidebar) so you never miss a month.
If you’d prefer a smaller, undated monthly calendar, try the monthly cleaning routine at-a-glance printable. There are 2 versions to choose from – go here to grab yours.
What better way to make a lot of progress in a small amount of time? Do the Simply Clean Declutter Challenge in January! Grab the free printable here. Follow along on Instagram, Facebook, and/or my private Homekeeping Society Facebook.

Hi, I’m completely out of any kind of routine, I am an unschooling sahm, with a challenging daughter with autism and a son who either learns all the wrong things from his sister or is on the autism spectrum too.
I spend each day in limbo, not knowing when the next ‘problem’ will arise, and my routines have gone out the window, I usually start a chore and have to stop part way thru to deal with the kids, when that’s done I forget what I was doing before…..
What would be the most effective way to begin your housekeeping system….oh and piles? We have many, because things get put down on a nearby surface and left…………

So thankful that I found your website! I am a 37 year old stay at home mom with an 8 month old son and daughters ages 8, 9 and 16 and two step sons ages18 and 19 (who are all living here at home still 😆)
I’ve always worked full time up until I had my son and never had the privilege that I’ve been blessed with now to stay at home.
I seem to have lost my ability to stay focused and finish projects that I start now that I’m older, though my ocd hasn’t let up in the slightest with age!
If my home is cluttered my emotions are cluttered and out of control feeling. I used to always a list make but now I seem to misplace them before I get to check off lol. So your site and tips and routines and lists are just what I needed to get my life back by getting my home back in order!
Can’t wait to get your book!
