8 Simple DIY Bathroom Cleaners + FREE Printable
November 11, 2015
Looking for some natural cleaners to clean your bathrooms? Today I’m sharing my 8 favorite DIY Bathroom Cleaners AND a free printable too! Chances are you have most of these ingredients in your home already, let’s put them to work.
Bathrooms seem to pose the most misconception when it comes to the proper way to clean them. A hazmat suit is NOT required and if you mix up your own cleaners, you can control the scent, the amount of cleaner that you mix up, and you know exactly what ingredients you’re cleaning with. That’s a win-win! Cleaners should contain ingredients that you can actually pronounce and be safe to use around your family, two important criteria that many common cleaners can’t meet. Try your hand at these natural and effective bathroom DIY cleaners and see what a difference natural cleaners can make in your bathroom and home.

That lemon grout cleaner is exactly what I need! I hate using all the harsh chemical ones that are on the market now. And by making your own, you are able to control what is in them! Love these Becky.

I am so excited I found your site! Even though today is Tuesday, I used your 15 minute bathroom cleaning routine. It took me 30 minutes to only do 2 1/2 baths…I’m hoping I get faster and more efficient as time goes on. I have a few questions – Essential oils – do you use the ones you list in the recipes because of their specific properties, or can any essential oil be substituted based on personal preference for scents? I know you answered this some where on your site, but i have been all over it today and cant find my way back to your answer – where do you get your spray bottles and tags?

Post authorHi Rebecca!
The spray bottles will soon be available here 🙂 or you can find them on Amazon and the tags were from Staples 🙂
Welcome!

I have a question about your DIY toilet cleaner . Do you put the entire mix into one toilet tank? If so, it seems tedious to make up this mixture for three bathrooms each week. Thanks for your feedback.
Becky Says...
Post authorYes, you do put that amount in each toilet 🙂

I cannot get any of my spray bottles to work when I make the borax soap scum cleaner. Any suggestions?
Becky Says...
Post authorUse hot water when you’re mixing them up and rinse the sprayer out after each use so it doesn’t clog it up.

Hi – I’m looking for a soap scum remover for the marble tile in my shower. Do you happen to have any other ideas outside of using Borax that work? I looked that up on the Environmental Working Group website and noticed that it was rated as an F. I’m trying to make any switches that I can to my cleaning routine that still work well.
