Great post Becky! Thank you!!! I’m sorry I’m posting this here on the comments, but I haven’t been able to find a way to contact you via email. 😉 Was wondering if you have any suggestions for a way to sanitize your kitchen counters and sink after cooking with raw meat, chicken or fish? I’ve used a watered down bleach solution however have never felt comfortable and so I’m trying to find an all natural way to clean. Would appreciate your thoughts, thank you so much.

I’m not the blogger, but I a spray a solution of of 1:1 vinegar and water over the area. I wait a bit and then spray hydrogen peroxide over the area. I wait a bit again and then wipe the area with paper towels. Done. That will get all of the yucky stuff and is safe to use in a kitchen.
I am super paranoid about raw meat and the above technique puts my mind at ease. It’s also the way I disinfect bathroom counters and my sinks (kitchen and bathroom).
