My sister introduced me to this cheese at Trader Joe’s, so I can’t take full credit. If you have a TJ’s within 50 miles, pick up a package or two this summer for your hamburgers.
It’s creamy, melts perfectly and isn’t as sharp or strong as straight blue cheese (because it’s a blend of monterey jack and blue cheese). If you need a great burger recipe – try them with this “Perfect Burger” recipe  from Williams-Sonoma.
I’m also thinking it would be yummy to try the cheese on a turkey melt, or a hot roast beef sandwich. Or sliced up thinly on a cobb salad – yum!
