If you’re frustrated with soap scum in the shower and/or find that weekly or bi-weekly cleaning isn’t enough to keep your shower clean, you might want to add a Daily Shower Spray to your cleaning regimen. This is one of the easiest and most effective DIY I’ve concocted and it’s a fraction of the price of a store-bought daily shower spray. The DIY Daily Shower Spray smells fresh and clean in the shower, keeps soap scum and mildew away, and is super easy to mix up and use.
Using a daily shower spray will keep soap scum and mildew at bay and make it easier to clean your shower. Start with a clean shower first and then use the daily shower spray to keep scum and mildew away.
Mix and store in a spray bottle. Shake before using and spray shower or tub daily after showering. Rinsing or wiping is not necessary but you can use a squeegee or a sponge after spraying. Experiment to see what works best for your bathroom. This DIY recipe will last for up to a month.
Do you need to add the essential oils for it to work? I have cats and I’ve heard that essential oils are toxic to cats.

I like the idea of diy shower spray and will make some up to try it, however please remind your readers, to close the bathroom doors if you use this method. Some people may have pets like mine who go in the tub after someone showers to get a drink. My cats do it right after anyone showers. Don’t want poisoned or drunk dogs and cats????

Becky, is it OK to substitute EverClear for the vodka in this recipe?
