Everyday Tips : Use a Clip for Checklists and Reminders
Sometimes a quick and simple tip that can make the mundane a little easier or make your life a little better makes a BIG difference. This is a new series here on the blog where I’ll be sharing simple tips, finds, and suggestions to make life a little easier. I’ll be sharing these tips regularly on the blog and on Instagram– make sure you’re following along! See all the Everyday Tips here.
This tip is one that I’ve been implementing for quite some time for my kids – a wall clip for a simple chore chart. Put it in a place where you or your kids can take a peek at the tasks before they head to school or get started on the day. The best thing? The clip is removable so you can place it in a new spot or use it in a different way.
I used simple white plastic clips, attached them to the wall (they can also be attached to a door or a mirror) and printed up a basic list of daily tasks for the kids. This doesn’t have to be for kids – this can be for adults too!
Type up a little list for yourself or use my monthly free calendar (linked below in my free printables page) and keep it where you can reference it frequently.

Those clips look great! We have the command clear plastic clips on our fridge, but they stretch out if you put more than 5 pages, and then you can never use them again for just one sheet of paper. The springs look so much better, thanks for sharing!

A friend was telling me her mom moved their chores checklist everyday so nobody got blind to it being somewhere. They’d race to find it and to get the “good” chores. Haha she referred to it as the “elf on the shelf” of chores in the late 70s! I’m guessing they weren’t little kids needing the repetition of where to find it and what to do.
