It’s a little early for me to start in on the orange and black, but a little sneak peak of the changing seasons is how I like to introduce fall. Kinda like how fall’s sneaking up on me outside. Little changes, nothing too dramatic, but a definite change in the air. For my fall mantle, I used items that I already had either around the house or in the fall bin in the basement., concentrating on creams and browns. Simple, sweet, and easy. Have you started to decorate for fall?

very fresh + festive…
I just hung my fall curtains this morning and need to figure out what to do for my mantle. This is good inspiration!
I love the second to last picture of the pottery…where did you get that. I love how you mantle is simple, yet for the season. I haven’t started yet but I think I may just go through some Fall items this weekend.

That’s an antique bean pot – Red Wing. You can find them at antique/thrift stores and Ebay 🙂 I have an extensive pottery collection – I love Red Wing pottery.
Love it. I have not started decorating for fall yet but I have been anxious to start and I am going this weekend thrift shopping (something I loveeeee to do) and I am hoping to dig up some fall treasures! lol

The decor gives your mantel a nice, crisp look without looking overly done. Nice.
