Boxed brownies are good, but if you try this recipe, you’ll never make brownies from a box again – really.

I use this recipe from King Arthur Flour – Fudge Brownies. I don’t add the espresso powder and I usually add a half recipe of this (Hershey’s Lickety Split)  frosting to the top. Perfect for a birthday or special celebration. I also really like the King Arthur Flour Double Dutch Dark Cocoa. I add a cup of chocolate chips to the batter for an extra chocolately brownie – yum!
