Boxed brownies are good, but if you try this recipe, you’ll never make brownies fromĀ a box again – really.
I use this recipe from King Arthur Flour –
Fudge Brownies. I don’t add the espresso powder and I usually addĀ a half recipe of
this (Hershey’s Lickety Split) Ā frosting to the top. Perfect for a birthday or special celebration. I also really like the King Arthur Flour Double Dutch Dark Cocoa. I add a cup of chocolate chips to the batter for an extra chocolately brownie – yum!

That looks so good! My favorite is from Hershey’s Kitchen. The recipe says to melt unsweetened chocolate, but I use the unsweetened chocolate in the small pack that is in liquid form. They turn out so fudge like!

I had my husband make these for me on Mother’s day. We had them with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries on top. Amazing!!!
