It’s the Little Things #112
What a week! What a year! Happy 2021 🙂 I hope the last couple weeks have been restful and while different, I hope good as well. We spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve differently, as I’m sure you might have too. It was fun to try different things and while me missed loved ones, we’ve had a small and sweet holiday break. Lots to share this week – let’s dive in! Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.

I found this Organic Vanilla Bean Paste on Amazon and used it in a couple baked goods for Christmas – it’s a fun find and can be stored at room temperature as well. Do you see it on the top right? I love using turn tables for spices – sweet spices are on the top and savory spices are on the bottom. You can probably tell that my favorite spices are from Spice House. You can see all of these products (except the Spice House spices) listed in my Amazon favorites in my Amazon Shop here.
Are you a take it all down on the 26th of December person or a linger a little longer person? I’m the latter, especially this year, I’m not in a hurry to take it all down. We always wait until after New Year’s Day and then slowly get started on the take it down and put it away process. I’ve been taking stock in our storage solutions and look forward to putting just the things we want and need to keep away and donating the rest. Would you be interested in what I’m working on for holiday storage?
What are you up to this first weekend of 2021?

I am always interested in seeing how others store holiday decor. I did a partial overhaul of my Christmas tubs last year, bit they could stand to be condensed & reduced further.

Thank you for developing products with cleaner ingredients. I’ve been searching for the perfect laundry detergent that keeps my laundry smelling fresh and doesn’t irritate my children’s skin. Your products are an answer to my prayers. I clean houses for a living and I use all clean-mama products! I would love to see you pair up with “the budget mom”.

It seems to take forever to put it all away! I always find something I missed weeks later. Any suggestions would be great and always fun to learn new ideas.

Would love to hear more about your Christmas storage. We also only displayed favorites this year and I’d like to store our best more carefully. And donate what I keep pushing around the attic.

I would love to see how you store your Christmas decor. I group mine by where it goes…for example all the tree decor in one box, mantle decor in another box, entertainment center decor in another box. We put all ours up today and cleaned the attic too! I’ll sleep better knowing my attic is cleaner. lol
