It’s the Little Things #121
I can’t believe it’s Friday already, this week has flown by! I hope you’ve had a nice week and found a little time for something that brings you joy. I have a stack of magazines calling my name this weekend paired with a nice forecast sounds just about right for a little outside reading. In this week’s post I’m sharing a winner crockpot dinner, new spring book releases to watch for, succulents that will make you want another, and iced coffee drinks on my list for an afternoon cup.
I’ve been tackling some more Spring cleaning over on the blog and Instagram and am loving the reset that it gives to our home. Be sure to take a peek if you haven’t yet. You can jump in at any time and join us in Week Three – Kitchen Deep Clean right here.
Need a new slam dunk sort of recipe in your repertoire? I love it when I find one that is a crowd pleaser for every person and has leftovers for another day. This slow cooker balsamic shredded beef from Thriving Home is just that. I added Italian seasonings and put the meat on onion rolls with provolone cheese – yum!
If you are looking for a new book to add to your stack, here are some new releases to be on the lookout for from 4 Boys Mother. Such a great selection from a variety of genres! The Paris Library looks especially delightful.
I love the ease of growing and maintaining succulents. There are so many here from BHG that are new to me and now I have a hankering to add to my collection.
As the weather gets warmer, I find myself in the mood for iced coffee in the afternoon every once in awhile. I may just have to try one or five of these variations shared by Camille Styles. Yum!
What are you looking forward to this weekend?
A couple Clean Mama Items:
The Laundry Powders are all restocked – yay! The Laundry Detergent Spray in Clean Laundry Scent is sold out (again!) but Unscented is available and Clean Laundry Scent will be back in a week or two – phew!
The candles are back in stock!
Did you see the Spring Quarterly? It’s one of my favorite things on the site – a quiet approach to homekeeping and an invitation to slow down. Check it out here.
Did you know that I have Clean Mama products on Amazon? You’ll find some favorites and some different bulk configurations like sets of 12 sponges and sets of 12 flour sack towels.
Thank you to all of you that have ordered Clean Mama’s Guide to a Peaceful Home! I have been blown away by the excitement and support from the book – it’s so much fun to finally have this book out in the world. If you love it, I’d love for you to leave a review and share the book on social media! Tag me so I can re-share 🙂
