It’s the Little Things #129
Can you believe we’re in the middle of May already? This month is flying – so many activities and end of the year celebrations. Just trying to keep up around here but so thankful that we’re finally back in the swing again. In this week’s It’s the Little Things post I’m sharing a blog favorite, a t-shirt round up, a great pulled pork recipe and a couple Clean Mama updates.
Call me old fashioned, but I still prefer a blog over social media. I have been following Chris Loves Julia for a long time and have absolutely loved watching their impending move to North Carolina. Take some time to peek at their fun posts and follow along with them.
Break out of the t-shirt rut with some new spring and summer tee recommendations from Kate over at The Small Things Blog. I grabbed the J. Crew lemon graphic tee she’s wearing in the post and love it.
We have a busy week this week so I pulled out the instant pot and made the BBQ Pulled Pork from this recipe for several meals this week. It is absolutely delicious and perfectly freezable. I grabbed a two pack of the pork shoulder from Costco and it made a huge batch. Thanks, Mel’s Kitchen!
Love a good shortcut? Me too! Take a look at some of my cleaning shortcuts that I posted this week for some inspiration. Be sure to follow along for a big roundup of your ideas coming soon! Take a peek at these posts from this week on my blog with the Clean Mama Routine as well as some of my cleaning must-haves.
I’m loving the Simple Shortcuts series – see all the posts here. I’ll be sharing my favorites and gathering yours on Instagram and sharing them here as a free printable with all the tips at the end of the series. It’s going to be really fun and helpful with a community feel. Make sure you’re following along!
A couple Clean Mama Items:
Did you see the Summer Quarterly? It’s one of my favorite things on the site – a quiet approach to homekeeping and an invitation to slow down. I share my top secret Chicken Salad recipe and other tips for a refreshing summer. Check it out here.
I just added TWO new sets of towels to the Clean Mama Shop. I love bringing you the highest quality of kitchen and cleaning cloths and these will not disappoint. The Kitchen & Pantry Towels are great for hand towels and a quick clean up.
I love flour sack towels and am excited to bring you this subtle aqua stripe. You’ll love these large lint-free multi-purpose towels – use them for cleaning, washing windows, drying dishes, hand towels, wrapping gifts, and so much more.
Four new essential oil blends hit the shop a couple weeks ago – did you grab one, two, or all four? Check them out here. I loved working on these blends and am so pleased to bring you delightful and pure essential oil blends. A lot of you have reached out wondering where I got them from – Plant Therapy manufactured them for me.
