As Christmas draws closer, I find myself drawn to things that simplify life in this busy season. This week I am sharing some great Instant Pot hacks from Danielle Walker, a simple decoration using pinecones from The Art of Doing Stuff and a great group of playlists from Myquillyn Smith aka the Nester. Be sure to check out the kitchen cleaning tips I shared as well. Having a clean kitchen at the end of the day is one of life’s simple pleasures.

I have had an Instant Pot for several years (I love it – I have this 8 quart model), but some of these hacks from Danielle Walker are new to me. I especially love the lid trick.

This is sure a fun seasonal project for the weekend from The Art of Doing Stuff – pinecones scented with essential oil. We have some pine trees in our yard that would be the perfect source for making these.

I absolutely love a good playlist to set the mood in our home. Myquillyn (The Nester) has great taste and I am especially loving her Winter playlist. Take a listen!
