It’s the Little Things #18
Happy Friday! Here are my favorites from the week with you – it might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.
This week I’m sharing based on a theme: COZY. One of my favorite ways to describe and make a home and it fits perfectly with what I’ve been into this week.
You’ve been asking and I’m happy to share that the seasonal Rosemary + Pine candles are back in stock in Clean Mama Home. There’s a limited supply – don’t wait!
If you follow me on Instagram you saw my love for the new book coming out on Tuesday by The Nester, Myquillyn Smith …. Cozy Minimalist Home. There’s so much to love about this book – I love how Myquillyn shows her ‘old’ style and compares it to ‘cozy minimalist’ style. This was really helpful for me just to see the impact of this style and how paring down your belongings to just the good stuff is so enlightening. Grab the book on Amazon here.
I pulled out my favorite slippers of all time from last year and since they are pretty much the epitome of cozy, I’m sharing them today. They are more than I’ve ever spent on slippers probably combined but they are so comfy and cozy. The Ugg Birche Slipper – if you are a slipper person (or want to become one), these are so great.
What have you been enjoying this week? Any little things to share?

This week with the change in weather, I’ve been in the mood for tea, orange & cinnamon spice, yummy!!

I bought suede slippers that cover my ankles and have hard soles last winter. They are very warm and fleece-lined. I got them out this week. Yours are cute, but I need more coverage and a sturdier walking surface.

I would like to buy some of those articles but it looks as if the shipping costs would be high. Every day, I spray my shower with vinegar (and lemon essential oil+water). It smells pretty good when I come in the house. I will get some rosemary essential oil for winter time. (and one for the daughter, who’s into natural homemaking too).

Agreed, Hazel!!! I have had the same style slipper socks for years. To me, they are the epitome of coziness, and I look forward to putting them on in the morning or when I come home from wherever. I just this week wore mine for the first time this year, as well.

There is a Danish practice called Hygge. Look it up. It’s the art of being cozy I believe. I love the concept. Thanks for sharing. I love this series on Fridays.
