It’s the Little Things #19
Happy Friday! Here are my favorites from the week with you – it might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.
Has your decorating style changed over the years or are you always drawn to the same things? Lately I’m loving a healthy mix of textures, finishes, and an eclectic yet minimal style. I save images in Instagram that inspire me – it might be a simple object, placement of furniture, or an overall vibe. I like to look at those images every once in awhile and look for themes or ideas that I keep saving. I thought today I’d share two accounts that continue to inspire me.
The first account is @whitetailfarmhouse – I love how Jamie mixes textures and neutrals so effortlessly.
Another favorite is from @studiomcgee – I love what Syd and Shea McGee do in their design work. Doesn’t this family room look inviting? I love it!
My daughter and I were shopping and Old Navy this week and I spotted this wall of flannel lounge pants – anyone need some early holiday gifts? Darling prints and patterns – I like the large buffalo check – at a great price!
The seasonal Rosemary + Pine candles are back in stock in Clean Mama Home. There’s a limited supply – don’t wait!
What have you been enjoying this week? Any little things to share?

I love the Houzz app. Beautiful pictures of homes and rooms. Search by style, room or size. There are newsletters too with the latest kitchen gadget to seasonal checklist items. Love it!

I love that kitchen. I am not a fan of flannel pajama pants. Being that I am 55 and in the midst of hot flashing all night…flannel pajamas would make me miserable. They do look cute though.
