It’s the Little Things #23

Happy Friday!  Here are my favorites from the week with you – it might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.

Don’t miss the Black Friday-Cyber Monday sale in Clean Mama Home and on my course – the sale goes through Monday but things are going fast and some are sold out and I don’t want you to miss it if you were interested!  Head to this post for details or just head to the sites:

Clean Mama Home – use the coupon code BFCM for 15% off (free shipping with $100+)
Jumpstart Your Routine – $59.99/ regular price is $99 (no coupon code needed) – the course won’t ever go this low again!

If you celebrate Thanksgiving I hope you had a great one!  Ours was quiet and a little different than usual, in a good way.  We went out for dinner and it was marvelous.  I made pumpkin pie and apple squares for later – the day was so stress-free, it might just be a new tradition.

Speaking of traditions, this is one of our favorites – The Christmas Book Basket.  I keep a bin with our Christmas books in the basement with our Christmas decor.  The first bin to come upstairs is the book bin, we take out the books and put them in a basket under the tree.  It’s usually the first decoration that comes out.  The kids love to look through the books all month long under the tree. Head over to this post to see what we do.

I am head over heals for Hygge and have been since it was a thing.  It’s a Danish concept for celebrating winter, coziness, and comfort through habits and rituals.  This post was a fun read with a darling journal page checklist if you’re into Hygge too.  I think what really resonates with my about Hygge is being mindful about habits and coziness – this book was a great read if you are interested.  I also like the Swedish version – Lagom, this is another fun book all about it.

’Tis the season for simple dinner ideas – I love this Ultimate Build-Your-Own Sandwich Board idea from The BakerMama.  Perfect for a bunch of kids, cousins, friends, a quick lunch with guests…
