It’s the Little Things #25
Happy Friday! Here are my favorites from the week with you – it might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.
This week got off to a different than expected start, but we’re off and running. Have you been following my challenge on Instagram? I challenged you and myself to scrub and clean our kitchen sinks every night – it’s been fun! Join in! I think I’ll do another mini challenge next week too.
I am a certified pen snob and paper person so this article by The Strategist on New York Magazine was super interesting and informative to me. The Strategist editors tested oodles of pens and consulted pen shop owners, pen bloggers, and pen artists to come up with the top 100 pens based on their criteria and the experts opinions that they polled. Check out the article here.
Oh my goodness, these shrink film keepsake keychains from Simply Kinder are darling. They’d make a great handmade gift, don’t you think? Check them out here.
Looking to make a holiday wreath? This tutorial from Camille Styles is gorgeous and easy to follow.
What have you been enjoying this week? Any little things to share?

I dare not put a wreath outdoors. We have glass storm doors and can experience winds in excess of 35-40 miles an hour in a storm. I am in the wrapping and delivering phase of the holidays now. I try to give consumables, so I got my friend a lotion bar and two tubes of beeswax lip balm. She really liked them.

Thanks for the Shrinky Dinks idea! We are hosting a family Christmas this year, and I was looking for a fun activity for the kids. I bought supplies to make the key chains. I think even the biggest kids might enjoy making them!

I have been a fan for a while, but just recently implemented the daily cleaning schedule. My goodness, what a difference it has made! I get up early and clean before i go to work, It only adds about 30 minutes to my morning routine. I don’t fret over housework anymore, I tackle large jobs on the weekends, like exterior window washing, or scrubbing the hard floors by hand (not quite maintainable yet) and even those don’t exceed an hour of work. It has made life easier. Thank you

Oh. My. Goodness. I love all things Writing, and just spent the last 45 minutes perusing the Top 100 Pens article, and a few other articles as well. Found a fountain pen to try for just $14. Also signed up for emails. In my world, today’s “It’s the Little Things” article was a really big thing! Thank you. ✍🏻
