It’s the Little Things #26

Happy Friday!  Here are my favorites from the week with you – it might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.

I know that this is a super busy time of year so I want to give you a quick heads-up on a HUGE sale on the Homekeeping Society subscription that starts very soon.  Keep an eye on your inbox over the next few days to see what’s new in the subscription and to see how you can get in on a whole bunch of bonuses for subscribing for the year.  Think of it as a gift to your 2019 self! Here’s the itty-bittiest sneak peak…

We added an 8 week old puppy, Ilsa, a second dog to our home a week ago – she’s great, but…. she’s a puppy.  Cue incessant potty breaks and lots of substituting proper chew toys for furniture, hands, boots, etc.  Fortunately we were expecting all that and are pretty well prepared but nothing prepares you for lack of sleep.  Crossing fingers and toes for some catching up this weekend. Did you see her debut on Instagram?  Here’s a pic of her and Stella (Stella is 2) – they’re both Weimaraners – a really fun and active breed.  Here’s a stinky dog post I wrote when Stella was just a pup – look for a dog post or two over the next months.

And now for a couple things around the internet that caught my eye.

Aren’t these pajama pant sets darling?  It’s a super simple sewing project, complete with a coordinating drawstring bag.

Along the lines of homemade gift giving, aren’t these DIY Bubble Bars from Hello Glow super fun?
