It’s the Little Things #42
Happy Friday! Here are my favorites from the week with you – it might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.

I’ve been doing lots of decluttering this spring – I’m a minimalist when it comes to most things. I only have one purse, a few pairs of shoes, but t-shirts and workout clothes? I’m a maximalist when it comes to those. I’m trying to weed through the house and make sure that everything has more of a minimal slant to it. Wish me luck 🙂
The magnolias are blooming around here – I love those big blooms after a long winter. This tutorial from Magnolia for making your own is so fun. Check out the tutorial here.
I loved this blog post from Minimalist Baker about Vegan Protein powders. As someone that has a smoothie nearly every morning, I am all for trying a tested protein powder. See my smoothie organization here.
I preordered this cookbook, Cook Once, Eat All Week, by Cassy Joy Garcia because it looked interesting and I love cookbooks. It came this week and I have to tell you that it’s unlike any other cookbook I’ve seen and is laid out the way my brain works. So, so good! Maybe you might be interested too?
What have you been enjoying this week? Any little things to share?

I’m interested to hear more about the cookbook. I feel like I could benefit from it in the fall when my family is more busy. I added it to my wish list on Amazon. 🙂

That cookbook looks great! Do many of the recipes contain dairy? I noticed it’s gluten free but wasn’t sure about other allergens.
