It’s the Little Things #60
Happy Friday! Here are my favorites from the week with you – it might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.
Here’s a fun decorating follow on Instagram if you need one – Amy of @cutertudor – I love her style and mix of wood, white, color, and texture. Love this entryway pic from her feed and a creative way to approach the typical bench in the entryway or mudroom. This photo is from @stef_durbin, found on Amy’s feed. Taking notes 🙂
f you need a delicious breakfast ‘cookie’ recipe with no eggs, no dairy, no refined sugar BUT so good, here’s one you need to try – Gluten-Free Vegan Breakfast Cookies from Minimalist Baker. Super kid and adult friendly, adaptable and they freeze well.
I was on The Bijou Show podcast talking about creating a clean space, getting organized for success, and routines. It was really fun to chat about all things clean and organized with Mariam of The Petite Bijou. You can check it out here.
I’m excited to bring you a little series next week here on the blog and on Instagram from Miss Freddy – it’s Clean Up Your Photos Week! Earlier this year I hired Casey (Miss Freddy) to help me sort through all of our photos. It was life-changing for me in terms of photo organization and just so helpful. I asked her if she’d like to help you and she said YES! Next week is the week – make sure you’re following along so you don’t miss a thing.

Any recommendations for keeping up with house chores when you’re gone 12 hours a day for 5 days a week? I have a 2 yr old, 5yr old in kindergarten, 2 dogs & trying to train for a race as well as taking an online class. My 2 yr old is also going through a phrase of wanting bedtime snuggles so I end up falling asleep before 8pm most nights.
Tired but blessed momma.

You are truly an inspiration to me. Over this past summer I have lost my motivation to keep order in my home, let’s be real… the last two years. A week ago we decided to have a yard sale and so the process began of eliminating clutter. It felt SO good to be “free” of all that unneeded stuff! Shortly after…as fate would have it, your Clean Mama Planner found me via FB advertising. I’ve been hooked ever since. What was once lost is now found, my MOTIVATION! I can’t thank you enough for your orderly thoughts and your talents you have shared.
