It’s the Little Things #65
Happy Friday! Here are my favorites from the week with you – it might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.
Did you see the all-new Clean Mama Quarterly? What is it? It’s a simple, refreshing way to approach the your home through the seasons and it’s in the shop! It’s digital/pdf and it’s my hope that it is a little something that helps us slow down and savor the season we’re in. This is designed to be used as a stand-alone and/or it pairs perfectly with Homekeeping Society (wait ’til you see the 2020 edition!) and the Clean Mama Homekeeping Planner.
Take a peek at the Clean Mama Quarterly – if you’re curious, it’s priced at $8!
This little thing is going to be a total sway in a different direction, but if there are any fans of The Office, you might enjoy my new favorite podcast with Jenna Fischer (Pam) and Angela Kinsey (Angela) from The Office, called Office Ladies. I heard them on this episode of another favorite podcast – 10 Things to Tell You with Laura Tremaine and was an instant superfan. The podcast is a treat and perfect as I’ve been re-watching the episodes this fall. So.much.fun. Let me know if you give it a listen.
Would you guys be interested in hearing what my favorite safe skincare brands and products are? Here’s one that would definitely make the cut. I love this lip balm by Hurraw! – it’s smooth and not waxy and oval in shape. The coconut feels like vacation – so good.
Question: What holiday posts would you like me to do on the blog? What topics would you like me to cover? Here are a couple ideas: prepping your home for guests, how to do the Clean Mama Routine during busy seasons, paper clutter, a challenge? Let me know by sending me an email or commenting on this post! I’d love to help you end 2019 feeling great about your home.
When do you put up Christmas decorations? We’re team after Thanksgiving but I might put a few things up early this year….this image from Nesting with Grace has me dreaming of some kitchen sink decor.
What have you been enjoying this week? Any little things to share?

To answer your question I think how to do the Clean Mama Routine during busy seasons and/or some type of challenge would be great!

I’m completely obsessed with The Office! It’s been my favorite show since it debuted so of course I love the Office Ladies podcast as well! It’s so fun to hear all the behind the scene details. I’d love to hear more about your clean personal care products. That’s one thing I’m struggling to find safe replacements for that I actually like and don’t cost a fortune. I’d love to find out more about how to prep for house guests in a more organized fashion. Thanks!

I would LOVE a post about prepping your home for guests before and during the holidays – how do we decorate and keep on top of things during such a busy season. Also, would love a list of some of your favorite holiday decor and the ways you keep it all organized (even some tips on your most efficient and safe ways put up/take down decor!)

Hi Becky. I love all the topics you suggested. In addition I am so visual that I like it when you video yourself cleaning or organizing. It really helps me to understand the process better.
