It’s the Little Things #7
Happy Friday! Here are a few little things I’m enjoying this week. I’m going to share some favorites from the week with you – it might be a quote, a print, what I’m reading, a favorite podcast, a playlist, a recipe, a helpful tip, a cleaning product, or something I added to our home. Basically if it’s something little that I feel is shareable or if it’s something I’d bring up to a friend over coffee or on the phone, I’m probably going to share it with you here. I hope you enjoy the little things – they’ll be coming to you weekly over the summer (maybe longer). Here’s a link to all of the posts in this series.
I use lazy Susans or turntables everywhere in our home. I love how they can help quickly corral and organize a space and how they add so much more space to a corner or shelf. This post shares my favorite turntables/lazy Susans – if you’re feeling stumped organizing a space, try one!
I love pre-ordering books on Amazon – you don’t have to pay until it ships and you have a surprise to look forward to. I pre-ordered SkinnyTaste’s (her recipes are some of my favorites!) latest cookbook this week, One & Done. The timing will be great for busy fall menu planning.
I saw this post and video on Ground Leaf about meal prepping jars with beans and grains and spices to save even more time when using a slow cooker or an Instant Pot . Such a great idea! Can you tell I’m getting ready for fall?
What have you been enjoying this week? Any little things to share? If you didn’t see the announcement about my brand new course, Jumpstart Your Routine, go here to get on the early bird list!

I do love the lazy Susan//turntables. Found a super sized one for under my sink recently. Decluttering dream! Can see everything.

Prepping jars with beans, rice, and spices is brilliant and I will be doing this for fall. We love bean soups in this house and I’ll add rice to anything.
I have a clear shelf in my pantry for the first time… ever… and I’m enjoying the emptiness of it. And I’ve had a cleared kitchen table for a solid week! It really is the little things!

Hi Becky, What a coincidence; I just reorganized my bathroom cabinets with turntables yesterday. I especially like them for under the sink. I use them under my kitchen sink and in a corner cabinet where things used to get lost in the dark corner. Thanks for sharing your little things!
