Just 3 Things : Episode 1
I’m so excited to share a little project with you – a new video series! I had so much fun with this first one – keep your eye out for more to come. Here’s the premise – in each video (hopefully at least bi-weekly) I’ll share 3 things – it might be a homekeeeping or cleaning tip, something that I’m enjoying eating or drinking, or it might be a question/answer from one of you. This week I’m at the kitchen table chatting, next time I might be scrubbing a toilet – who knows!
I hope you enjoy it!
Just 3 THINGS MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO:
My favorite tea – Harney and Sons – Cinnamon Spice and Holiday Tea – yum!
And my favorite mug from Williams-Sonoma – these make great gifts!
New series coming next week – SIMPLY COZY. It’s all about slowing down for the season ahead with some coziness.

Will the scribbler become Bactria filled sitting in the dish? How would you avoid that? Clean it?
Becky Says
Post authorI wash it weekly in the dishwasher to avoid any bacteria. The brush I spray a little vinegar on to disinfect and allow it to air dry as needed.

I try to read your blog every time you have a post. I want to like it because I so enjoy your pretty photos and I’d like to learn more from you. Unfortunately for me, there are so many ads that pop up it truly makes it difficult to navigate. I just tried watch your video and it kept pausing every few seconds and some random commercial started playing. I had to stop because I couldn’t focus on the message you were conveying. I feel bad being negative, but I truly find it difficult to naviagate your blog and therefore don’t fully explore the message you are trying to share.
Becky Says
Post authorOh goodness, it shouldn’t have been like that – I uploaded a new ad-free video if you care to check it out. You can always ‘x’ out of any ads or switch to another browser 🙂 Thanks for reading!
Jeanne Says
Hi Becky,
I saw you had a new post and tried the video again. Much, much better! Thank you. It was nice seeing you and putting a face to your name and products. 🙂 As for the pop ups. I know I can x out of them. And I do know you have the ads to help support your blog. Usually it doesn’t bother me, but I guess because the video was so wonky, I was frustrated at the ads as well. It’s all good! Thanks again for checking on the video. I’ll have to check out that tea! Have a good week.

Jeanne I didn’t realize until just now that I don’t notice ads on Safari but when I’ve read on a different browser at work I have. Maybe check to see if your browser has any ad-blocking plug-ins?

I love Harney & Sons Teas! My two favorites right now are Hot Cinnamon Sunset (I wonder how different that is from Hot Cinnamon Spice) and Peppermint Herbal. I drink HCS hot and PH iced. It is still so warm here in Texas, so I have been drinking a lot of iced peppermint tea to stay cool! We are definitely ready for some hot tea weather! Thank you for the info on the Bubble Up! Since I’m already a Grove customer, I appreciated the 50% discount on it!

OMG! Love this video idea!! First off, you are so awesome! I have enjoyed everything you do and put out there for everyone! I’m so glad I found you and all the wonderful information!! Thank you for always sharing your cleaning wisdom! I look forward to reading simply cozy! When I describe how I want my home to feel, cozy is always right there at the top!
I’m not an avid tea drinker, but I do enjoy a cup every once in a while. I enjoy a good mint tea. However, your hot cinnamon spice sounds delicious. I wonder if it tastes like the cinnamon tea they use to sample in the Hickory Farms stores? Did you ever have one in your local mall? That was a long time ago! Haha ????
I wrote a book! Thanks again for always sharing such wonderful info! Happy Saturday!

Hi Becky, I love following you and reading your blogs. I belong to grove so I tried to find the free offer to add to my basket and couldn’t. , so I wonder if it is for first time customers only ? Thanks
Becky Says
Post authorYes, it’s for new customers but there’s a link for existing customers to get 50% off the bubble up 🙂
Pam Says
Hi Becky – Your products are fantastic, so I trusted you, and placed an order with Grove Coll. this week. 🙂
The Holiday tea is my all time favorite. I drink it all winter. I’m a coffee drinker, but I do like a cup of tea in the winter in the afternoon (after my house cleaning is done). Thanks for the video. It was nice to “chat” with you face to face. I look forward to future videos.
Melissa Says
I love the video idea! I’ve been following your blog and cleaning routine for a few years now. I don’t have a favorite tea but do love green tea and chai tea. I’m already a member of grove and love them. Can’t wait for the next video!

Hey Becky. Im from New Zealand. I really enjoy reading your blog and like your video but can you pretty please get your full face in the shot. I got part of your face on my phone, its a little annoying, sorry to moan. Thanks
Becky Says
Post authorHi Sandra- My full face is in the shot – try turning your phone?

Love your blog! And thank you for introducing me to Grove Collaborative I have enjoyed receiving my needed items right on the front porch- keeps me out of Target and impulse buying!!
Lisa Says
So the bubble up… How much soap do you have to put in the bottom of it for it to work? How often should you change the soap? I’m just a little confused and worried about being wasteful of my precious soap. I’m trying to be more contientious about my wasteful habits (soap, water, toilet paper, food, etc). Thank you. I love your site!!!
Becky Says
Post authorJust a squirt or two – not much!
Kit O'Brien Says
Great video, so fun. Thanks! I also live in the midwest (Minnesota) so this warm weather has been such a treat. I am also a coffee person but like you, I can’t have that caffeine later in the day and find tea a great option. I drink the Good Earth Sweet & Spicy Caffeine Free Herbal Tea. I does come in Caffeine so read the label.
Also, I loved your pantry. It inspired me but I have not figured out what to do yet.
Becky Says
Post authorThanks Kit! I LOVE Good Earth 🙂

I LOVE This!!!! Thank you, Becky!
