Menu Planning – Three Reasons to Keep a Recipe Binder

update:  check out this post to see my updated recipe binders
It’s not a secret that I love my recipe binders – they are great tools in menu planning. A recipe binder might be a great way for you to keep tabs on recipes that you want to keep in your rotation and/or want to try. You can see a tutorial here and a post about my holiday binder here.
Here are 3 reasons and ways to keep a recipe binder:
1. Keep your magazine clippings and photocopied recipes all in one place.  If you have a recipe binder, you have to be okay with the paper. If you are a digital person, Pinterest recipe planning or an online recipe box may be more your thing.
2. Customize your recipes by holidays, menus, categories.
3. Use the binder to rotate menus – start with recipes for a one-week menu, then add to it every week until you have a month and then start over at the beginning of the next month. You could do this seasonally and rotate four different ‘master’ monthly menus.
So how about you? Do you use a Recipe Binder?
