So weird that you blogged about smoothies because tonight was the first time I have made some since last summer!! Yours sounds so much yummier. I’m on a hunt for good recipes. My girls loved them so if I can sneak in some veggies that would be awesome! Think we’ll try your recipe tomorrow, thanks!

Sounds good! I like to use Kefir instead of the greek yogurt. Add a bunch of frozen berries & YUMMO! However, I cannot hack spinach in my smoothies. I don’t care what you do I can still taste it – ugh!

Looks delicious! I’ve never added honey to a smoothie before but I’m anxious to try that now. One of the new restaurants on campus has a strawberry/apple smoothie that I have been in love with lately!

I add to mine not all at the same time along with fruit, yougurt, ice and flax: spinach, kale, cucumber, carrots, broccoli stems
I have a blendtec blender (similar to vitamix) so it blends it so well.

I’m on a smoothie kick too! I’ve made several the past few days. Here’s my favorite:
banana – put however much you want. If you want a lot of banana flavor, use the whole thing. If not, cut it down to 3/4 or 1/2
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup orange juice for sweetener
3/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
Blend and go! If I had some flax seed, I’d add that but I don’t. The above recipe makes 2 servings.
