Paula Garcia Says...
Can this be used in a front load washer? Do you use your regular laundry detergent with this spray?
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorYes, it’s for front load, top load, regular, and HE machines – ANY washing machine. THIS IS your detergent! It’s all you need 🙂
Roberta Says...
I have soft water and can’t use 1/2 oz. So if it is super concentrated I am worried about so much suds in front loader. Any suggestions?
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorLittle to no suds! This is concentrated and you only use 5 sprays per load – that’s it! It works amazingly 🙂
Retta Says...
What about using vinegar with the final rinse?
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorI haven’t found that I need it BUT you definitely can use vinegar with the final rinse!
Ashley Says...
I use vinegar with each load of laundry as you have suggested for our front load washer, could I still use this and vinegar at the same time? Do I need to? Whats the difference between this and your powder?
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorHi Ashley! You CAN use vinegar with this but I’ve found that I don’t need it. The difference in this and the powder is the delivery – liquid vs powder and it’s a different formula but both have enzymes which are the most important thing to remove dirt and odors.
Jen Says...
Are the refill bottles recyclable? And is this completely fragrance-free?
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorYes, it’s Plastic #1 – PETE or PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate)
Plastic #1 is the easiest plastic to recycle and is typically recycled into tote bags, furniture, carpet, paneling, fiber, and polar fleece.
The natural fragrance is lavender essential oil.

Becky, I am ambivalent about this detergent. I love the smell of your powder. That Lemon-Clove makes my whole day smell good. Are you still going to sell the powder?
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorI love the smell of the powder too – I am going to carry both liquid and powder and will be adding a second powder scent early 2021. The powder isn’t going anywhere but I’ve found that people like one or the other and I want to have a great option for both!
Janet Says...
Is it septic system safe? Would think so but with the enzymes, I wasn’t positive.
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorYes, it sure is 🙂

I’ve been following CM for a couple years now but never have committed to buying any of the products. I bought the spray and I did a load of towels and added nothing else. I just pulled them from the dryer and they are sooooooo soft and it’s funny how I don’t feel the residue fabric softener leaves behind. I’m happy so far. I want to wash everything in my house now.

Post authorLove this Lucia! Thank you so much 🙂

Hi! My front load washer does a pre-wash cycle (can’t change settings). Is it ok to do the 5 sprays for that pre-wash cycle? The only way to add detergent during the “main wash” cycle is to add it at the top of the machine. It doesn’t seem like this detergent spray would work well using that option?
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorYes, use it at the pre-wash cycle 🙂

This is my first purchase from your shop and I am so happy with it! My clothes smell fresh, my towels feel softer, and I can confirm this spray is indeed safe on a variety of fabrics. What attracted me the most to this is that it was labeled allergy free – my daughter and I both have eczema and this has not aggravated it. Selfishly I love the fact that I can just spray and go. Please keep this active in your shop forever.

Post authorLove this Ashley! Thank you for your feedback!
Jocelyn Says...
I just bought this and am so excited to try it! Can I spray the detergent directly into the detergent tray? Or does it have to go on the clothes? Thanks!
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorTry it both ways but I prefer to spray it directly on the laundry!
Aubrey Says...
I have a water softener and I am supposed to use less of regular detergents as a result. For a regular non-concentrated detergent I only use about a tablespoon of liquid detergent. Since this is a concentrated detergent do you recommend that I use less than five sprays, or the full amount?
Clean Mama Says...
Post authorI would try 4 sprays but I am guessing 5 would be great!
Vicki Says...
Few questions…I just tried you laundry spray this week and did five sprays how I would normally use a spray bottle without thinking about it, then later I realized I wasn’t fully depressing the trigger with each spray. I saw in your video where your son was using it, and it occurred to me that the size of your hand could affect how far you depress the trigger. Do I need to deliberately fully depress it? Also, if I’m just doing a very small load of delicate items, how many sprays should I use? I have a very large capacity washer and the delicate items are usually only about one or two layers of items on the bottom. I love the concept and space saving aspect, just want to make sure I’m using the right amount. Thanks for your help!

I love this product. It cleans so well and your laundry smells so good after it drys. A couple of my white microfiber cloth’s were stained and I didn’t think they would get clean enough but after pre-treating them they looked brand new.
