Let’s get started with Week 2! Last week we decluttered some key areas in our homes to help us get started. If you’re just starting out you can start there OR you can start here on Week 2. You’ll notice each day’s task on the free guide, use that to jot down any notes and check off your progress. I’m linking up some tips and products that might help you as you work through the week.
Week 2: Establish Daily Cleaning Habits (Small Habits, Big Changes)
- Day 8: Start the Daily Tasks
Task: Make beds, wipe counters, and tackle laundry. (These are 3 of the 5 Daily Tasks in the Clean Mama Routine.
Quick Tip: If this feels like too much, do just do one of the Daily Tasks. - Day 9: Quick Clean in the Kitchen
Task: Do a quick sweep or vacuum of the floors and clean the sink.
Tip: Have you tried the Nightly Sink Scrub recipe and routine? Try it today! - Day 10: Bathroom Touch-Up
Task: Wipe down counters and mirrors, and give the toilet a little scrub.
Tip: The Homekeeping Society Membership is the best way to get all your deep cleaning and organizing done with the Clean Mama Routine! - Day 11: Tidy Living Areas
Task: Fluff cushions, dust surfaces, and declutter.
Quick Tip: If you notice spots that you should touch on and you don’t have time for it today, jot it down for later – this isn’t all or nothing! - Day 12: Start a 5-Minute Nightly Reset
Task: Pick up toys, fold blankets, and prep for tomorrow.
Quick Tip: This keeps your mornings stress-free or less stressful! - Day 13: Laundry Day Strategy
Task: Focus on catching up on any uncompleted laundry for the week or creating a system.
Quick Tip : A laundry schedule, even if it’s a loose laundry schedule, is so helpful for staying on task and on track with your laundry. This post shares my laundry schedule and gives suggestions for creating a laundry schedule. - Day 14: Reflect and Reset
Task: Review your progress and prep for Week 3.

This is helping me stay focused and mindful of keeping the house tidy and orderly. I do the daily tasks except laundry. I don’t have a lot and will do weekly w/sheets and towels. Dusting is the hardest task for me, I can’t stand it but today, I will dust the entire house if it’s the last thing I do!
