I MAY be challenged here… but I wanted to see the Soap scum recipe… and I have No idea what to click to find it… (it is early, and I AM Challenged…. SORRY if this is completely silly) THANKS!

Post authorIt’s in the lemons sheet, so click on the lemons link below the picture to go to that sheet.

Thank you! These are awsome (and pretty)!
Dawn Says
These are such wonderful printables, BUT when printed you cannot read any of the words in the gray with white sections. The font is so petite that it does not translate into a readable printed form – in either color or black and white. The font in general is very hard to read on all of these free printables.
Not complaining, just wanted you to know your hard work is not being able to be utilized.
Thank you!
Becky Says
Post authorHi Dawn-
Sometimes googledocs transposes the font into something else – if that’s what is happening for you, please email me and I’ll send you the pdfs.

This is really cool! thank you for putting all these together! My all time favorite cleaning agent is lemons. Lemons are amazing!
Maggie Says
Wow! This is a very handy little printable sheet to keep on the refrigerator. I use a lot of lemon in my cooking, so now before letting a couple lemons go bad, “Hmmm…what can I use this to clean today?”
Katherine Harp Says
These are amazing! Would you mind if I post them and a link to your site on my blog? I’m just starting out and I have a focus on saving will living a clean lifestyle.

Thanks for these great tips! But like Dawn said above, when I print these, they are barely readable. The contrast between the white font and the background color isn’t enough to make the font stand out. Maybe putting the font in bold? I really love these and want to switch to natural cleaners, but I just can’t read them. Help please! Thanks!

What happened with ammonia? I use it to clean a lot of things, including my walls, blinds, and glass around the house. A quick rinse and the grime from my smoking is gone! There are some scented ones out there, but the smell goes away quickly.
Kathy Says
Would love to use these, they are a great idea but like some of the others I can’t read them. Any suggestions?
Christie Says
I’m not sure I commented in the right place the first time….
I cannot read these recipes on screen (even after enlarging) because it is fuzzy. I have the same problem when I print them out! 🙁 Is there a better way to see these?
Thanks!

thank you. 🙂

These are absolutely wonderful guides! Thank you so much for putting these out there!
Quick question…I’ve never worked with Borax or Castile Soap, and limited with Vinegar. Do I need to wear any kind of gloves with these? I’m assuming not since they are natural & all purpose, and didn’t have a warning listed, but just want to check.
Thanks again!
Becky Says
Post authorNo gloves necessary 🙂

I’m just getting started with using these ingredients to clean, and I notice a lot of these recipes call for essential oils. Are these really necessary, or do they just make it smell nice? I have no idea where to buy them or whether they are expensive. I’m trying to save money right now, and being natural is a nice bonus, but I’m hoping the recipes will still work even without the essential oils if I can’t afford them (or find them) right now.
Becky Says
Post authorThe essential oils help with the cleaning and some (like tea tree) also disinfect. I would suggest starting with lemon essential oil – it’s fairly inexpensive and will last a long time.

Try as I might I can’t seem to get to a place to actually download and print this. From the comments above it seems as if I were to get there I’d have a blurry copy anyway. Is there something (link) I’m missing so that I can download and print it out clearly?
Becky Says
Post authorHi Theresa! You’ll need to go to the link below the main picture for the specific printable you are interested in. Once you download the printable, make sure you have the current copy of Adobe Reader and aren’t viewing in preview. There is nothing to print on this page 🙂 Let me know if you have any more questions!

Do you have a recipe for cleaning a shower head that is clogged with hard water mineral deposits? I have previously seen one that requires putting products in a baggie and attaching to the shower head over night but I’m afraid of ruining the finish on the shower head. Can you recommend a safe combination of products?
Becky Says
Post authorPut straight white vinegar in the baggie – that’s it! And it will remove those deposits with ease!
Bethany Says
I absolutely love your blog! I have added these printables into my planner so I have easy access to them! I can’t wait to start trying to make my own cleaners! With a baby on the way, I want to keep all the chemicals to a minimum. This is perfect! 🙂
Becky Says
Post authorThanks, Bethany!
Kim Says
Question… does it matter if you use plastic spray bottles for these cleaners or is it better to use glass? Thanks!
Aline Says
Can these cleaners be stored for use several times our do they have to be used immediately?
Becky Says
Post authorAbsolutely!
Betsy Says
These are great! Not only are these green but they are cost effective too! I make a batch of the lemon all purpose once a month! Thank you!
